Completed June 2012

A boutique restaurant, with a masculine feel, simple finishes and a concise brief: Improve circulation, provide a take away waiting area, feature group seats and maximize the view into the kitchen with minimal reconfiguration. The proposed bronze and iroko shop front breaks up the existing glass façade, creating a cosy front area and frame views into the restaurant.

A quirky, small boutique GBK. Bronze is used as a simple finish to bind together inside and outside spaces, softened by sculptural upholstery and a warm timber floor. A quirky play on the bus stop outside sees vintage Routemaster seats make up the window seating and reclaimed headlamps for spotlights. A mixture of exposed and painted brickwork, warm timber flooring and reclaimed iroko cladding.
