Completed December 2013

Located on a popular stretch of the Chiswick High Road, the restaurant design began with the idea of a peeling back of the building fabric and finishes gradually revealing the layers as you progress from the front to the rear of the dining space.

Reclaimed timber set in a herringbone pattern is overlaid on a strong geometric wallpaper pattern which then gives way to raw exposed brickwork. The pattern continues onto the tiling of the main bar which is a subtle mix of two tones and finishes.

The blue and salmon colours of the wallpaper are continued into the banquette detailing with the two colours inverted in the leather, buttons, stitching and detail beading. Large reclaimed lamps and fittings are interspersed with newer pieces, and existing rooflight at the rear is incorporated into a light coffer and snug area and wood stained table tops are contrasted against bespoke red resin tables.
